my daughter just came out of jail and wants her 4 year old daughter back. My daughter karla let her boyfriend to take care of her daughter while she was doing time. She was suppose to get her daughter back when she came out but instead her boyfriend mother is not allowing my daughter to see her daughter or take her back. My daughter boyfriend did not go to establish paternity on the baby so he dont even has his name in the birth certificate. There were no papers sighn giving them custody. I dont know what to do. her boyfriend was the one suppose to care for the baby but instead he let his mom take care of the baby. They are from haiti. They are not letting my daughter not to even see her child. Can she go with the police and get her daughter or what advice can you give me. Ill appreciate any help that you can give me in this matter.
