I currently live in Michigan but I was wondering if there is an age in Maryland where children can decide who they want to live with and how that works. Even if one parent has custody and the children say they want to live with the other parent can that happen or do the courts still have a say?

Does anybody answer these things? How long do you have to wait? Just curious
