How can I legally change my name in the U.S. if I live in Japan. I have lived here for more than 14 years and have no family in the States therefore I hardly ever go back. I have tried to change my name in Japan but the Japanese courts have said that I have to change it in the States first before they will legally change it here. What can I do??????
