My mother-in-law currently has power of attorney or legal guardianship over a little boy. She lives in OR. Due to circumstances, my husband and I would like to raise the little boy in VA. He is 3 years old. Can my mother-in-law sign over power of attorney or legal guardianship to my husabnd and myself? Is this an easy task? Thanks for the help.
