Change in Venue

I recently moved from California to Arizona with the minor child and would like to have entire file transferred to current state of residence. Ex-spouse moved from california to another state several years ago. I usually represent myself in court and do not know where this is considered just a change in venue (county to county) or something else since it is also state to state. If anyone has any information please let me know.Thanks!
