My ex has recently lost his job and is not paying child support. I am remarried and told him in no uncertain terms that I do not have a problem with this, that when he finds a job we will discuss it then. I have a few questions about that though. Our child support is not through the state however it was through his work. I truly don't want him in trouble for not paying support. I guess my question is "is there any way he could be in legal trouble because he hasn't paid it in over 5 months?" Our divorce papers also said that he would have medical insurance on her and life insurance on himself with her as the beneficiary. Those were also terminated when he lost his job. Again not an issue with me, just wanting to make sure he can't get in trouble.

You certainly can have papers drawn up agreeing to all of this and file them with the court. That way it will not be an issue for him.
