I just recently purchased a new car on the 6th of this month. I received a phone call this morning from the finance department stating they made an error on the sales tax. Instead of charging me 7 cents they calculated 6 cents into the price of the car. They want me to come back in and sign all new paperwork reflecting the new sales tax which in turn will change the price of the car. What are my options? If I can't get them to waive the additional sales tax and keep the car at the same price I initially purchased it at can I get my old car back?
