My petition for H1 has been approved and I got a notification from INS stating my approval.I have applied for my SSN but was told that I could not get my number till the office gets verification from INS which could take 30 days or even 90 days.I wanted to ask that do I have to wait for SSN so that my employer can start paying me as soon as I join his office or is there any other way that i can legally get paid?
