Unhappy what can i do about my business neighbor ??

we just relocated our auto detail and window tint business about 2 weeks ago, and the first day that we were there my husband introduced himself to our neighbor. well right off the bat our new neighbor told my husband that the last 10 business that moved in have failed, and that we wouldn't get any customers because we are so hidden from the main hwy, and he told me husband so good luck. but he said this in a very hidden place way. well my husband just shock it off and continued with his day. the next morning while my husband and an employee were outside pressure washing a vehicle our neighbor comes out of his business and very rudely tell my husband that he can't hear his phone because of all the noise from our pressure washer and asks him to come inside and hear for him self how loud it is in his office. my husband does and walks to the back of the building were his office is, with a door and my husband hears that it isn't no were near as loud as our neighbor is claiming it is. Well while in his office our neighbor tell my husband that it is obvious that we don't fit in well there, and that what was the owner thinking when he leased to a detail shop. My husband told the guy that we were not doing anything that owner did not know before he leased to us and told the guy that he was busy and needed to get back to work. Each and every time that this guy has approached my husband has been to complain and very rude at that. We have not done a single thing to this guy we have been polite to him since the get go, but it has been one thing after another with this guy. Well he called the owner to complain and according to the owner was very rude to him about it. We explained that we didn't know why this guy just didn't like us. So the third day we catch his wife taking pictures of our business while we were working. I went over there and knocked on their door and asked that why was she taking pictures of us and she claimed that she wasn't and was taking pictures of her business. Okay well that same evening we saw that both wife and husband went to our neighbors across the way and were taking to them for a while. We thought oh they must be complaining to them about us. and what do you know they were. When they left our neighbors across the way approached my husband and told him that our neighbor were complaining about us and how much we don't fit in and all the noise we make. we explained that we didn't know why they just didn't like us from the start. they told us that he is a complainer and always has been. The next morning we got a call from the owner again and he told us that our neighbor is making a big deal of us and he told him that we were breaking the law by washing vehicles there and that he called D.E.Q so they can come and fine us or shut us down. I called D.E.Q to speak to someone about our business and wanted to make sure that we were in compliance with laws and we are handling this issue. anyways our neighbor looks at us very rudely and with a smurck on his face. we were out of town for like 6 days and our business was closed during this time. We get back to find a note on our door. Say that who did we think we are moving in and taking 2 parking spaces, that we are new there and should have more consideration with our neighbors and there parking needs. We have a mobile detail set up and have a cargo trailer and our truck we pull it with and have them parked taking up 2 parking spaces which the owner said we were in tilled too. Well our first day back this and we get a call again from owner saying that this guy is really not happy with us being there and that he complained to the association of all the businesses there and that they came up with 2 options for us. 1. we can take our cars and wash them some where else and just do the rest there and he would reduce the rent for the trouble or 2. we can move and he would not hold us to our 1 year lease. my husband talked to the owner explaining to him that he didn't know why our neighbor was being this way with us and how he is trying to clearly get us out of there. We understand that our gas powered pressure washer is loud so we went out and bought an electric one which is much more quieter, we only do 1, 2, or 3 cars a day which 3 a day is not often. We are not a huge business we are a tiny family ran business that all we are doing is trying to keep busy and pay bills. It was hard enough for us to move and now it seem that moving is our only option. But we believe that this guy is being very unfair with us and can't explain why?? We are young Hispanic couple that are trying to make ends meet like so many other american's but this guy is just not letting us do that. Is there anything that we can do? talk to? please help me.

If you have a lease, there is not much they can happen until the end of the lease or you breach it unless you agree. Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html and http://resources.lawinfo.com/en/index.html. You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer to determine what legal options may be available. In the meantime, you may be able to learn more on your own. Search the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.
