Default A California seller on eBay has blatanty broken their contract with me. My options???

I ordered 10 power supplies from zipzoomfly through buy it now on ebay last friday the 6th for 40.95 a piece with free shipping. I paid immediately with no problems whatsoever. I received an email on Monday stating that a computer error led to them cancelling my account. I called and asked what happened (they put the price way too low) and they said they weren't going to sell me those units at that price. EBay clearly states that sellers are responsible for everything in their listing and the auction is a binding contract between the buyer and seller and may only be opted out of by mutual agreement or one side proving the inability of the other. I have filed complaints through eBay and the BBB; do I have any other options?

P.S. I am not the only one this has happened to. I've found over a dozen people in the last year (through feedback) that this has happened to.

You could try to take them to court, but you would need to sue them in California. I would wait and see what Ebay says first. Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html. You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer to determine what legal options may be available. In the meantime, you may be able to learn more on your own. Search the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.

That's no good if I have to take them to court in California. Thanks for the response though. Ebay will not do anything now that a refund is issued. Is there any type of organization that prosecutes breach of contract like this (i.e. any government entity)? I'm currently emailing past eBay users that have had this same problem happen, maybe one of them lives in CA and can file the lawsuit with sworn statements from other witnesses throughout the country.
