Default Broken hot water heater still not fixed

I am renting a house in Georgia and my hot water heater broke last Thursday. Since it was after 7pm and I rent through a realestate office, I waited until the morning to call the office so they could set up repairs. I called the realestate office right at 9am when they opened on Friday and let them know what was going on. He said he would call a repairman and call me back and let me know what was going on. By 2pm that day I still hadn't heard from him so I called him. He told me he has not heard back from the owners, who now live on the west coast, and will give them until 3pm before calling a repairman. Around 4pm the repairman arrived, and after putting in a new part he thought would fix it, it still would not work. By that time it was after 5pm and he said he would be unable to get the other part that could be causing this until the next morning (Saturday) and would be back in the morning.
Saturday morning the repairman calls and tells me that they have been unable to find the part anywhere and will have to wait until Monday when other stores that may have it will be open. I called to tell the realtor's office and asked if there was anything else we could do and he said no we will just have to wait until Monday.
Now its 1pm on Monday, my water heater is still not working and I haven't heard from the repair company at all. I called the realtor's office and he said he would call the repair company right away and call me back. That was over an hour ago and I still haven't heard anything. I'm getting pretty tired of not having hot water. I'm 8 months pregnant with a toddler at home and my husband is on deployment so I have no one to help but the realtor and I seem to be getting no where.
How long can the landlord leave us without any hot water? Is there anything else I can do? I don't have the money to hire someone else and pay them and then deduct that amount from my rent. Any advice would be so helpful right now.

It seems that everyone is doing their best. If the part is not available tha tis no ones fault. Keep calling both Realestate company and repairman. The squeaky wheel gets the grease

I agree with underdog. Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html. You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer to determine what legal options may be available. In the meantime, you may be able to learn more on your own. Search the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.
