I am in the public safety field & member a public safety union. I was recently suspended from employment due to a medical condition. This condition may or not be work related (most likely not). Union states that since it is not work related they have refused to provide legal counsel. They referred me to a private attorney. I have lost thousands due to lost wages. Is this a breach of contract? Thanks.
