Default BIG BIG trouble

I am a hard working Maryland resident with a wife and two kids, but with a very very bad driving record. I have multiple speeding tickets on me. I have had to go take the safety course twice in 13 years that I've lived here. All of my infractions are for speeding. Last night I was pulled over for 70 in a 55. As of late I really have been watching my speed, so not to get pulled over. I really did not think that I was going 70. Also, I got a repair order for a headlight out. I told the the officer up front that my license was suspended for another speeding ticket that I hadn't yet paid, because of severe money problems that I continue to not be able to break out of. At any rate, I was not arrested. The car was not impounded, because I told the officer, I would not have the money to get it out or to pay to have it towed to my house. I was instead allowed to have my wife pick me up. I have no money to get a lawyer. I could not afford to even pay one on a payment plan. I make good money. I work overtime, but still I am unable to get out of a terrible financial crisis. Are there any lawyers out there that might represent me for free? I fear that the judge is going to look at my driving record and just give me the year in jail and the $1000 fine. If I go to jail, my family would definitly parish, as I am the soul provider. If anyone out there knows of someone to represent me foe free, please tell me. I don't want to deal with this without a lawyer.

Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html. You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer to determine what legal options may be available. In the meantime, you may be able to learn more on your own. Seach the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.
