I live in Atlanta, GA. I have been trying to serve court papers to the respondent for over one year now. The sheriff could not catch the respondent at home after making several attempts. I hired a private investigator who could not serve her after several attempts either. My attorney insists that she has to be served, but my funds are limited and I cannot conitinue to spend more money hiring private investigators to locate her. She has a home that she recently moved out of and put up for sale. The home has not been sold yet. I was also advised that she recently filed a quick claim deeding her home to soon be sold over to her mother. The respondent is also my sister-in-law. I am not comfortable getting my brother involved. Can someone please advise me.? I NEED TO HAVE HER SERVED ASAP! What other legal options are available?? Please help! this is a civil case.
