If you lived in another state, got your license back and then moved to ARizona and got your AZ license is your license from the other state gone?

My friend had a drivers license originally suspended in VA then reinstated and then moved to Arizona and received an Arizona license, now DMV in VA says that my friends license is suspended. How can a license be suspended when it was turned into the DMV in Arizona?

If anyone knows please let me know....

It isn't the license, it is the privilege to drive in Virginia. Your license can be suspended in a state where you do not have a license. For example, if you are from Pennsylvania with a Pennsylvania license and you get a DUI while on vacation in Virginia, Virginia will suspend your privilege to drive in Virginia. Hope that helps.

It will be up to Arizona if they recognize the VA suspension. He will need to contact the DMV.
