Question What age can I choose were I live?

Hi my name is Sierra, I live in Texas with my dad and step mother (pamela). I would love to go live with my grandma in Shepherd Texas, where I was born and raised. My dad made me move in 6th grade with him after mymother died. Since I am 15 now i wanted to know if i had the choice to live there. I didntlive with my mom when I was little I lived with her. If so that I can, would it involvea court case? Or could I just talk to CPS and move out? Its a regular house hold (the one I live in now), but I want to be at home where I was raised. My father would not let me but I want too, I love my grandma more than anything in the world. I have talked to my friends and some adult figures, no one sees why I couldn't live with her. She just had knee surgerey and has a bit of trouble walking. Other than that the doc's say she is perfectly healthy. I just need somebody to help me on this stuff! If you can thank. Just two more questions:

1. What is the legal age in Texas to leave home with out your parents permisssion?
2. And would I have to get a cort case to go live with my grandma?

Im sorry if its too long. I just need to know the information about this beforee i do anything. Wait, one more if i go with my grandma what are the requirments for her caring for me? By the court, I mean. I know there is alot but please dont forget to answer them.

-Sierra

Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html and http://resources.lawinfo.com/en/index.html. You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer to determine what legal options may be available. In the meantime, you may be able to learn more on your own. Search the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.
