We have a little girl that we are hoping to adopt however we are not sure how since she has been in our custody ordered by a judge in another state. We have been told to take it back to that court system to finish it there, however we are concern with the child interstate adoption law for children that are from another state, and raised in another state....but also lived in a few other states as well. No father is known, mother agreed to adoption..but she is located once found in a different state (not sure for how much longer).

They are many children that she has placed in homes, with all having unknown fathers, drug user, many men etc. The little girl we were able to take custody of (she is related to my husband) was showing extreme signs of neglect, but has come a long way, Social Workers have never been in contact with any of the children so we are left more confused on what and how things should process.

Any thoughts someone may have we would love to hear.
