My Ex fiance is accusing me of stealing something from his house we have been apart for 8 months and someone else is now living with him. He is filing a police report and an insurance claim the item was worth around $3200. What rights do i have? How does the investigation proceed? Can he just accuse me of it? I have not been on the property in about 2 months and it just came up missing in the last few days.
