If you have mesothelioma then you are going to have it in 1 of 4 stages.

1st. stage

The malignant Mesothelioma cells
begin to grow and multiply only one layer of the pleura.

2nd. stage

Two layers are affected but it only effects 1 side of body.

3rd. stage

Cells have spread to esophagus, chest, and lymph nodes on one part of chest.
You may or may not suffer from severe pain to the affected areas.

4th. stage

In this stage the cells have penetrated into the blood stream and other organs such as liver, bones, and the brain.
