Default 18 Didn't Graduate No College Child Support to Ex

My stepson didn't graduate this past May. He failed 3 classes required to make it. Same 3 classes he has repeated for 2 yrs. now and even took in summer school and failed. Yikes!!! So he turned 18 last Jan. Without his HS diploma he isn't going to college. He's been arrested several times now. Dealing. As of yesterday call from employer. Dealing at work. Mother is worthless. Most of problem. He is supposed to go to a CAPS program this fall. I say supposed to with tonuge in cheek. Okay so he continues to fail. We continue to support actually we just give her money and he gets money from us. Support doesn't go for him. If you say he lives with her well he's not even there most of the time. So are we still obligated to pay when an adult child fails HS and isn't being made but is going on his own to an alternative program? Local school won't take him back because he's failed there classes repeatedly
